Match the guidance to your task without granting new authority.

Soval infers a likely kind of work from your prompt and starter filename. Open Work settings to inspect or change it before starting. The choice adjusts guidance only. Explore an idea and The Telling book use five conversational stages with required answers; other kinds retain five guided text steps.

New idea and book threads use v2 declarations specific to their task. Other kinds retain guided text steps. Required fields record your statements; they do not verify their truth. Existing threads keep their original criteria.

What choosing a type does not do

It does not create a governed project, run software tests, import an archive, modify an external system, or accept manuscript or canon changes. Describe the intended work and keep those later actions explicit.
