Retain exact text
Through a connected Soval capture tool, explicitly ask to retain the text you supply. Check that it returns a saved record ID. The record stays private, Restricted, and staged; saving it does not establish that its claims are true or accepted.
Inspect source use
For a saved work thread, open Choose a persona for this work → Context and source use. Select Check source use before changing it.
Stop or restore future use
Stop using this work as context blocks new context reads and drafting from the thread while preserving its material. Use this work as context again restores availability. Read fresh context afterward.
Record a correction
First retain corrected text as another intake from the same account. Enter its ID in Replacement intake ID, then choose Record a correction. The original becomes unavailable as current context; the replacement is not automatically applied.
Keep the meaning of the action clear
Stopping context use is not deletion. Correction does not overwrite original bytes. Restoring availability does not automatically repeat a rejected generation. If a profile or governance source becomes unavailable, open Preferences and explicitly clear or replace its selection. Correcting a source does not select the replacement for you. Use a fresh, explicit request.
Archiving a ChatGPT conversation does not import its transcript into Soval. Retain the specific text needed before archiving and confirm the saved record.
