Start a thread
Open Workroom and select New work. Write naturally under Start with a prompt, or choose Guide me for one question at a time. Attach an optional text starter under 10 KB. Open Work settings only when you want to override the inferred work type, name, result, or boundaries. Select Start working to save.
Frame the request
State who the result helps and what is in or out of scope.
Gather the starting material
Add relevant text or inspection notes. Separate supported facts from assumptions and missing material.
Develop your candidate
Write a draft or plan. Use Insert an outline for a starting structure, or Ask Soval for a draft for an AI suggestion. Read it before keeping it.
Check the work
Compare the candidate with your original request. Record checks actually performed and their results. Keep proposed checks separate.
Prepare the next step
Summarize the result, unresolved questions, and next action. Say which person or decision is needed.
For a new idea or book thread, Soval asks for each required stage detail as one conversational question. A brief explanation of an unknown is useful; a bare placeholder is not enough. After the required answers, review the generated summary and select Keep & continue. Wait for the saved confirmation. Text left in the conversation or editor is not a completed save.
Unsaved changes means your editor text has not been retained. Saving… means the result is pending. Wait for Saved privately. If an action fails, keep your text and read the message before retrying. Reload asks before discarding unsaved text.
Five recorded steps mean the process has progressed. They do not prove the facts are correct or that the result has been accepted.
