Work with your material

Load and use context

Choose your account context and inspect the material used for work.

What context includes

Your account context can include an explicitly selected profile record, governance preferences, and starting work. A work thread also carries its request, desired result, boundaries, progress, and selected persona. A skill supplies a reusable method; it does not store your private account context.

Choose your saved context

  1. Retain the records you want

    In connected Soval chat, ask to retain your exact profile or preference text. Confirm the returned record ID. Saving a record does not activate it or establish its claims as true.

  2. Select your records

    Open Preferences and find Your saved context. Choose a Profile record, Governance preferences, and optional Starting work. The lists show only your account’s records, up to 100 of each type. Use Reload choices after retaining new material. If a record is outside the list, ask connected Soval to select its exact owned ID.

  3. Save deliberately

    Select Save context choices and wait for confirmation. Choose None selected and save to clear a choice without deleting its record. New accounts start empty; a profile and starting work are optional.

  1. Save a small task

    In Workroom, write “Create a 20-minute team agenda with a decision and next action.” Add “Do not assume agreement” under optional Work settings, then select Start working.

  2. Inspect the context

    Select Inspect context and source use in the work’s context panel. Select Load this work’s context. It includes the work’s saved material and your selected profile and governance sources. Reading it does not draft text or consume a next-response persona.

  3. Choose an approach if useful

    Select Planner, choose This work session, and press Apply selection. This does not change your saved profile or governance choices. Standard Soval is also a valid choice.

  4. Review a draft

    Select Ask Soval for a draft. The saved work and selected profile/governance records are sent as input to the AI provider. Review and edit the suggestion before Keep & continue.

Continue on web or in chat

Workroom loads your account choices when it opens. A direct work link takes precedence over saved starting work. A new Spark starts new work. In connected chat, ask Soval to load your account context; no work session is required for that account-level read. Ask separately for a specific work thread when needed.

Several governance notes

The account selects one governance source. If your preferences are split across records, you may explicitly ask Soval to create a combined record that preserves their exact text and provenance. Keep the originals. Verify the combination before selecting it, then load account context again to confirm the choice persisted. Do not treat a saved record as an active selection.

Unavailable records and extra material

A withdrawn or corrected source is unavailable for new use. Clear its selection or explicitly choose an available replacement. Reading an extra record in chat does not automatically select it for future website drafts.

Soval cannot force context to load at the start of every external chat. Invoke it explicitly. Profile and governance records guide assistance; historical approvals remain evidence and cannot authorize new actions.
