Change or reset your password
If you use email and password, open Preferences and select Change password. This requests a link at your verified email address. Open the newest link and enter your new password on Auth0’s secure page. If you cannot sign in, use Reset password on the sign-in page. Soval uses your verified email and password for sign-in.
If the email does not arrive
Check spam and junk folders and confirm the address you used to sign up. Request acceptance does not confirm inbox delivery. Wait at least one minute before requesting another link; repeated requests can make earlier links unusable. If mail still does not arrive, tell the Soval administrator the request time and the message shown. Never share your password or reset link. A notice that password changes are unavailable needs administrator attention.
Create your account
Use Create account on the site and follow the sign-in provider’s instructions. Complete email verification if requested. Do not share your password or verification link in a work thread.
Finish verification
If Soval shows a pending-verification page, complete verification and use its fresh sign-in action. An unverified account cannot open private work. If the message persists, sign in again and report the message without sharing credentials.
Set your preferences
Open Preferences. Set your display name and time zone, then choose Save settings. Your verified login email is shown as read-only.
Return to your work
Open Workroom using the account that saved the thread. If a session expires, keep a copy of unsaved text before signing in again.
Which settings do what?
Display name and time zone are account settings. Under Your saved context, choose your retained profile, governance preferences, and optional starting work, then select Save context choices. Saving a note alone does not select it. Persona selection is independent of these context choices. New accounts start with no selected context or personal persona; empty choices are allowed.
Reset connected chat
If connected chat is using an old grant or needs a fresh permission set, open Preferences and select Reset connected chat. Review the confirmation, then revoke access. This signs out every Soval chat connection for this account without deleting the account, settings, context, personas, or saved work. Reconnect Soval, use the same email/password account, and review the new permissions.
Every verified Soval account can connect its own context to supported chat through the separate sign-in and permission flow. Website login alone does not connect chat. Sign in as the same account and review the requested permissions.
