Describe the writing task
Write a natural prompt or choose Guide me. Use Writing for a general draft or outline. Use The Telling book for a candidate book brief and the next owner decision.
Attach or paste the material
Paste the passage or attach one plain-text, Markdown, CSV, or JSON starter under 10 KB. State viewpoint, audience, tone, and what must not change. Soval does not automatically load your whole manuscript or earlier chats.
Draft one bounded result
Answer each current question, or explicitly ask for an AI draft. A Writer & editor persona is optional. Separate invented possibilities from established story facts.
Review against the source
Check continuity, attribution, voice, and any introduced facts. Save unresolved choices as questions. Prepare the candidate for review.
Try: “Revise this scene for clearer dialogue attribution. Preserve events and viewpoint. List any proposed story change separately.”
New book threads require the exact seed, purpose, audience, creative boundaries, source references and lineage, established versus proposed facts, source-mapped sections, and unresolved choices. At the check stage, record reader checks actually performed and unperformed checks separately. Select Compile candidate book brief to inspect compiler results and gaps. Keeping the check stage also runs the trusted compiler against the current saved version; it cannot advance without a matching candidate result. Compilation requires a configured service and independently verified source inputs. If unavailable, retain your work and report the missing binding to the owner. The handoff records the candidate brief, unresolved decisions and a separate future formation request. This does not create a manuscript, canon, book project, galley or typeset book.
